Work on Projects that You Can Be Proud of
Currently, VictorEric has an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our team in Vancouver, B.C. on a full-time basis. This role will be performed on site.
As our new Site Supervisor you will work collaboratively alongside the Project Manager to facilitate ongoing construction projects. If you are ready to work on award-winning and luxurious homes while also giving back to the community through corporate-sponsored volunteer events, then this is the opportunity for you.
Some of your key responsibilities within this role will include:
- Schedule trades for workflow and enforce deadlines to meet construction schedule
- Observe and maintain construction quality control, resolve construction issues that arise
- Ensure construction sites are kept clean and orderly
- Schedule and attend designer, consultant, and city inspection
- Implement Health and Safety on site by complying with relevant Legislation, Regulations, Standards and Codes, Company Procedures and Special Site Requirements

Review and substantiate subtrades’ progress claims

Ensuring that project logs, schedules, tasks etc. are maintained on the company project management software.
- Maintaining or improving company standards while supporting and maintaining company objectives.
In order to qualify for this role, you will need proven work experience in site supervision on detail oriented custom homes.
As our ideal candidate, you will join us with excellent communication skills and huge enthusiasm for the world of design, and construction. You will have the ability to proactively plan and see the "big picture," along with competencies in leadership, conflict management, and site supervision skills. Your strong interpersonal skills will combine with your technical knowledge and experience to ensure your success as you drive our projects forward while always taking care to ensure a high-quality result. Your dedication towards the work that you do, as well as your creativity and determination to improve and make things better, will help foster a positive working environment for the greater team that is working alongside you.
Good knowledge of the processes of construction and states for inspection, with clear understanding of milestones and critical paths would be helpful, along with the ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel, clients and trades. Experience with Step 5, Net Zero ready, Passive houses or High Performance homes an asset.
