Position Overview

We are currently seeking scaffolders of all levels to assist during an upcoming pulp mill shutdown in Quesnel. This project is expected to last approximately two weeks, with both day and night shifts available. In addition to scaffolders, we will also require 4 to 5 local material handlers or first-year workers to assist with gear movement and hole watch duties.

Candidates with prior mill experience will be prioritized, particularly for lower-level positions which must be filled by local residents. Mandatory overtime will be required throughout the duration of the shutdown.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidates will possess the necessary certifications and a strong work ethic. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a successful project.

  • Must hold certifications in Fall Protection, Confined Space, CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 (training can be provided if needed).
  • Preference for local candidates, especially for lower-level positions.
  • Mill experience is an advantage for candidates.
  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime, with both day and night shifts available.
