Your New Career
Scout Talent is currently looking for a Team Lead, Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This full-time role will operate on a hybrid model with a blend of work from home and in our Vancouver office, and the start date would be January 10th.
The SDR Team Leader will be responsible to drive the success of the SDR team KPI's. The focus will be on ensuring a high daily call average, minimum expectations of meetings booked, and a focus on meetings successfully completed.
As an integral part of our sales team, you will be responsible for researching prospective customers, creating outreach strategies, and identifying sales opportunities.
Using your business acumen, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential clients, identify how Scout Talent could help an organization achieve its talent acquisition goals, and successfully position the Scout Talent value proposition.
Day after day, you will become an expert in:
- Obtaining qualified leads by conducting high-volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day). We believe in making genuine connections, which is why in addition to email and LinkedIn messages, we strongly rely on phone and Zoom conversations.
- Scheduling discovery meetings to further assess a prospect’s talent acquisition goals and to explore the potential for partnership with Scout Talent.
- Assisting mid-market organizations in achieving their talent acquisition potential.
Beyond these initial responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to learn about the challenges organizations are facing today and how effective talent acquisition can significantly improve their growth potential.

What we're looking for
In order to qualify for this role, you'll have previous successful sales experience and proven success in leading small outbound sales teams.
You will also join us with the confidence and ability to build up lasting partnerships. As a challenger, you strive to meet and exceed measurable performance goals and take obstacles as opportunities for improvement.
Experience in high volume cold calls is a valued asset, as well as proven success in business development!

The Benefits
As a valued member of Scout Talent, you’ll be rewarded with an attractive base salary of $60,000 plus uncapped commission. Depending on your progression, you will be able to enjoy on-target earnings of $70,000-$100,000 in Year 1. Additionally, you’ll also get access to an excellent benefits package which includes:
