About the Role

The TAG Customs & Accessories Technician contributes to the operational efficiency of the shop by maintaining, repairing and diagnosing vehicles in accordance to Trotman Auto Group and manufacturer guidelines, ensuring that our customer visits meet and exceed expectations.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performing installs of suspension Lift Kits and aftermarket accessories
  • Diagnose, repair and perform maintenance requirements in accordance to manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform road tests on all vehicles in which repairs, diagnostics and maintenance has been performed
  • Maintain vehicle records by documenting service, repairs, vehicle status and future repair requirements into DMS system
  • Diagnose and report existing conditions and additional repairs to the appropriate parties
  • Additional duties as outlined by management

Qualifications:

  • Recent experience as a Customs & Accessories Technician is preferred
  • Must have previous experience installing lift kits and aftermarket off-road equipment
  • Basic electrical knowledge and fabrication skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis
  • The ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Must be able to communicate (written and verbal) in English fluently
