Primary Role: Carpenters' and Install Techs' duties vary and include set up and installation of modular structures, building arctic corridors, steps. landings, walkways, renovations on existing structures and general remote construction, such as buidling shops and cabins. Duties may also include facilities maintenance management. We are looking for adaptable, talented carpenters, who love working in remote environments.
Qualifications
· Valid Class 5 Drivers License with clean drivers abstract
· Standard First Aid
· Fall Arrest Certification
· CSTS Construction Safety Training
· Minimum of 5 years of experience working in construction carpentry roles (less experience may be considered at the lower wage rate)
· Hands on experience with building and renovating workforce camp facilities and other remote structures
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment and work/live in a drug and alcohol-free camp environment for 4 weeks at a time.

· Must be able to lift, move, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
· Good physical stamina; capable of working long hours on your feet
- Must be able to live in a remote camp environment for up to 4 weeks at a time working 12 hour shifts
Responsibilities
· Carpentry work on camp structures, including installing modular buildings, light industrial construction, renovations on existing structures
· Able to safely use and maintain various small construction tools such as drills, skill saws, reciprocating saws, table saws, small hand tools etc.
· Implement Summit’s Safety Management System
Wage: Dependent on experience, $27-32 per hour plus overtime (12 hours per work day, shifts usually 3 weeks in one week out, but could be different pending location)
