Primary Role: Camp Managers oversee all aspects of camp operation, supervise catering, custodian and maintenance staff and carry out administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years successful experience in managing a busy kitchen, camp, and/or hotel, including budget tracking and management, staff scheduling and training, menu planning, ordering and inventory, quality control, and administrative duties
· FoodSafe Level 1 (required), FoodSafe Level 2 (preferred), First Aid Level 1 (required)
· Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, Outlook and OneDrive, camp management software experience an asset
· Experience with inventory and ordering procedures, and staying within a set budget
· Demonstrated record of excellent customer service
· Background and training in safety systems
· Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment and work/live drug and alcohol free for up to 4 weeks at a time

· Must be able to live in a remote camp environment for up to 4 weeks at a time, working 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities Include:
· Oversee all custodial, maintenance and catering operations at the camp, as needed
· Communicate with Client regarding camp numbers, quantities & ordering
· Coordinate with head office, clients, maintenance personnel and catering staff to ensure smooth operation of camp.
· Implement Summit’s Safety Management System and encourage safe work behavior in all employees.
· Complete and file and/or submit all required documentation, tracking, and quality control measures
· Track and manage project budget within set limits
· Address residents’ complaints and needs promptly and effectively
· Schedule and oversee all Summit staff on site, including new employee orientation and training
· Ensure food safety standards are met and maintained at all times
· Ensure that entire camp is maintained in a clean and orderly condition, and all camp equipment is functioning properly
· Enforce Summit and camp policies and rules as required
· Complete and Review thorough crossover notes for cross shift worker
· Project a positive and professional attitude, at all times, and encourage the same in all staff.
