About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Labour for Maintenance to join our team.

The primary role of the position is to ensure that all buildings, grounds, irrigation systems, roads and equipment are kept to the standards of the health and safely in Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will have basic mechanical and electrical abilities, along with strong troubleshooting skills.

Experience in facilities or equipment maintenance is an asset, and a commitment to safety and efficient work practices is essential. This role may also require the individual to occasionally supervise or train team members during specific tasks or projects. Being on time is very important for this position, as reliability directly supports team operations and daily workflow.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Safely operate basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Work effectively with team members, follow directions from supervisors, and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Perform general cleaning and upkeep of buildings and work areas.
  • Safely operate lawn mowers and use basic tools (e.g., shovel, hammer, rake).
  • Operate weed trimmers and leaf blowers safely and efficiently.
  • Complete basic painting tasks and assist with minor repairs, including small water leak fixes.
  • Remove snow from walkways and perform general outdoor clean‑up, including garbage collection.
  • Carry out all and additional duties as assigned.

Qualification:

  • Experience with basic Carpentry Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Understanding of irrigation systems and basic plumbing abilities.
  • Experience operating motorized equipment such as tractors with front‑end loaders and lawn mowers.
  • Prior experience in building and grounds maintenance.
  • Strong punctuality and reliability are key as being on time is essential for daily task scheduling and overall team coordination.

This is a full‑time, year‑round position, scheduled for 5 days per week at 8 hours per day, might require to be flexible occasionally. Screening will be based on the applications received, and references will be requested for shortlisted candidates.
Pay: $20 per hour.
