Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Janitorial Worker and the primary role of the position is to ensure that all the building are cleaned to standards of the British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association inspection criteria. This position also has the responsibly to follow the direction of the Janitorial Supervisor to achieve the highest possible quality of customer service to our guests. Duties

  • Understand & operates all cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Understands all the clean chemicals and proper way to mix them to apply them in a safe and economical process.
  • Keep the buildings cleaned for regular inspections of washrooms that meet the standards of BC Campground & Lodging inspector.
  • Handles customer complaints in a professional manner by resolving the problem by using customer complaint resolution techniques.
  • Keeps Janitorial Supervisor well informed both verbally and through email on all important issues that can negatively affect the consumers’ stay and perception of service.
  • Ability to work with other employees.

Qualifications

  • Keeps service rooms clean and a well-organized workstation.
  • Excellent ability to produce first-class customer service.
  • Always properly greet the customers.
  • Demonstrates the capability and understanding of the recreation and tourism industry.
  • Attends all training programs facilitated by NK’MIP Resort

This role is a full-time year round position - 5 days a week - 8 hours/day at the NK’MIP Campground and R.V Park in Osoyoos B.C.
Pay: CA$20.00-CA$22.00 per hour
