Heavy Duty Mechanic

Qualification requirements:

Farm Heavy-duty Mechanic.

Must be eligible to work in Canada and provide necessary paperwork.

Experience and understanding of heavy duty, John Deere tractors, light equipment, vehicles.

A plus would be able to weld and use Oxy acetylene torches but not necessary.

Familiar with the materials, tools and machinery used in our field.

Able to change implements on tractors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work cooperatively with supervisors and crew members.

Repairs and maintenance of all owned equipment, vehicles, and tools.

Maintain a clean work area at all times.

Fabrication and repairs to equipment, vehicles, and tools as required.

Attend and participate in the safety meetings.

Have a strong understanding and adhere to Occupation Health and Safety system.

Comply with work safe Procedures and respective WCB requirements.

Be Professional and courteous to coworkers, customers, and vendors.

Look for safety deficiencies and immediately report any problems to the supervisor.

Be constantly aware of your surrounding and work environment. Point out any concerns to the Management.

Perform all necessary jobs as per supervisors’ instructions.

Salary: Based on experience

Casual dress

 Schedule:

8-hour shift

Monday to Friday

On call for night shift Occasionally
