The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, and sport and with a seating capacity of up to 10,000, we are one of the most versatile entertainment venues in the UK.

 

The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends and Dancing on Ice stars, Torvill & Dean, the National Ice Centre is Nottingham’s hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey.   We are the home of the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey team and host around 30 games a year.

 

2025 is a bumper year for our venue with us welcoming Peter Kay, Kylie, Strictly Come Dancing, Craig David, Mo Gilligan, Olly Murs, Diana Ross and the 50th Anniversary Tour of Torvill & Dean to name a few. 

 

Reporting to the head of department the Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient rostering of casual employees, ensuring adequate staff are rostered for all events for their designated team. 

 

In conjunction with our HR team, they will ensure that timesheets are approved in line with our payroll deadlines.  They will also be responsible for the production of key event day documentation.

 

The Staff Coordinator will be key in the maintenance of operational efficiencies, ensuring that both staff and customers enjoy a smooth experience.

 

With previous experience of staff scheduling, workforce planning or event coordination the ideal candidate will be a people person, with the ability to build strong relationships with our team, our staff and our external contacts.

 

You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deal with staff in a positive manner.

 

With strong organisational skills, you will be able to manage your own workload and those of your team, prioritising and managing their time effectively.

 

Flexibility is key due to the needs of our business, you may on occasion need to work late nights, weekends, bank holidays or at events being held outside of our venue.
