The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, and sport and with a seating capacity of up to 10,000, we are one of the most versatile entertainment venues in the UK.
The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends and Dancing on Ice stars, Torvill & Dean, the National Ice Centre is Nottingham’s hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey.
2025 is a bumper year for our venue with us welcoming Peter Kay, Kylie, Strictly Come Dancing, Craig David, Mo Gilligan, Olly Murs, Diana Ross and the 50th Anniversary Tour of Torvill & Dean to name a few.
We are looking for Box Office Agents to join us on a casual (zero hour) basis.
Our Box Office Agents are the first point of contact for our customers, offering support and assistance to thousands of customers each year. The role is varied, no two days will be the same.
Our Box Office team are responsible for the sale of tickets via the phone and in person, as well as assisting with online ticket bookings and queries.
Our team have an excellent knowledge of our venue and a dedication to providing support to our customers with accessibility needs, ensuring that the National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena are accessible to all.
Our Box Office Agents undertake all administration in relation to event ticket sales and assist with ticket dispatch whilst also being responsible for maintaining our customer database.
Providing the highest level of service is paramount to us, we are looking for individuals with exceptional customer service skills who are motivated to make every customer interaction the best it can be.
Ideal candidates will have a positive and friendly manner when communicating in person, over the phone and in writing and be confident in dealing with customer feedback.
Excellent attention to detail is essential.
Experience of working in a similar role would be an advantage but a positive, can do, attitude is the most important thing.
They will enjoy working as part of a team, be passionate about live events and be able to adapt to a changing environment.
Our Box Office team operates over 7 days a week including evenings so you must be flexible in you working hours to cover a variety of shifts.
