Due to growth, MAT 4Sites Engineers is seeking an energetic Mechanical Engineer to join its dynamic team in Toronto, Ontario.
Demonstrating drive, motivation and enthusiasm, you will drive the design and engineering of challenging and rewarding projects along side our great team. Your responsibilities will generally include:
- Successfully carrying out design/project assignments as directed;
- Management of design/project assignments;
- Preparation of, or assistance with, the conceptual design of a project;
- Review and/or preparation of the detailed design;
- Performing site investigations and field reviews;
- Attending site meetings and liaising with clients/contractors;
- Review of CAD drawings using AutoCAD and BIM using Revit;
- Review and application of knowledge of relevant building codes and standards;
- Review and/or preparation of HVAC load calculations, Energy Modelling, and equipment selections; and
- Preparing technical reports and specifications.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a relevant degree or diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Designer/Engineer for mechanical building systems for commercial, multi-residential, and institutional facilities.
To be successful in this role, you must be proficient with MS Office Suite, AutoCAD and Revit software and skilled in performing HVAC Load calculations and Energy Modelling for buildings.
