We're looking for a Sulphur Labourer to support our growing team. As a Sulphur Labourer, you are responsible for loading molten sulphur trucks and pouring molten sulphur on a client site in Fort McMurray. You will understand the Standard Operating Procedures, Critical Tasks, and ERP. You will also have excellent customer service skills as you interact with the client, truck drivers and other KBL departments. The shift rotation is 1 week in 1 week out, flying from either Edmonton International Airport or Calgary International Airport. Camp accommodations and meals are provided.
What You'll Do
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Operate the Sulphur loading rack to efficiently and safely load molten sulphur onto trucks for transport.
- Handle the Sulphur block process: pour, cool, and solidify sulphur into blocks for storage.
- Adhere to truck loading schedules to ensure timely operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform regular checks, document notes, and prepare reports.
- Show respect and professionalism to coworkers and truck operators.

Work Environment
- This position is based on a client site in Fort McMurray, Alberta
- Camp accommodations are provided

Who You Are
- Previous experience in the oilfields and working with molten sulphur is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to document work effectively and manage cross-shift communication.
- Skilled at multitasking, making quick decisions, and troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent customer service skills and commitment to safe work practices.
- Willingness to fly to work sites and stay away from home as needed.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Adherence to company HSE policies and relevant legislation.
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Up-to-date safety certifications, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, WHMIS, and TDG.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be Fit-for-Work each day.
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Safely work and travel in all weather conditions.
