About You
- Your attention to detail and outgoing, customer focused personality allows you to develop long-lasting relationships with leaders and all levels of management
- You are a self-confident professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving organization
- You have a minimum of one years recruiting experience in a medium to large organization (non-profit experience an asset) and relevant education (required)
- With strong organizational skills you can manage multiple competing priorities.
- Your interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with your adaptable and flexible nature will support your success in this role
About the Opportunity
The Human Resources Recruiter works as a key member of the Human Resources team leading full-cycle recruitment. You will report directly to the Human Resources Manager and work from the CLS' Administration Centre located in downtown New Westminster. As the successful candidate, you will work independently and diligently to ensure positions are filled with qualified candidates in a timely and efficient manner. More specifically you role will include the following:
- Determine location-specific recruitment needs and look for innovative, creative ways to fill these roles
- Actively attending to locations to develop a strong understanding of the needs of the individuals we support ensuring appropriate and qualified candidates are presented
- Generates a wide source of applications,; places advertisements advertisements, postings, and website information and continually looks for new ways to source quality candidates
- Responsible for full cycle recruitment, onboarding, and document collection
- Develops and maintains post-secondary relationships and conducts community outreach/networking
- Oversees special recruiting projects and events
- Collates all recruiting data, conducts analysis and supports recruitment strategy
- Supports broader HR team initiatives and performs other duties as assigned
