At Forever Gifts, we are currently hiring a Merchandise Account Coordinator to support our growing team in Arlington, Texas! We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and maintaining trust-based relationships with customers and our international partners. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, communicating, and executing the direction and development of assigned buying projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sales/Marketing team and President to gain knowledge of opportunities in the marketplace and propose solutions to fit with the marketing direction and the brand strategies while considering price points and marketing mix.
Your essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop strategic account management plan and participate in product development process to service customer’s needs.
- Provide accurate and timely customer service from order placement, order status to delivery as well as build, maintain, and foster customer relationships
- Collaborate with team members in Sales & Marketing, Product Development, and our Asia Office to coordinate product deliverables
- Research and recommend the appropriate pricing needs and levels to maximize profit & competitiveness while supporting special price quoting
- Manage client accounts through proactive approach and customer-service mindset
- Build and maintain client relationships by answering general inquiries regarding shipment status, invoices, and product quality and management
- Analyze customer and sale representative feedback for opportunities to improve existing products while actively searching for new inventory recommendations, suppliers, and new categories
- Identify customer needs through active listening to answer questions and make product recommendations based on the customer requirements
- Communicate with key stakeholders and our Asia office team members to proactively identify potential issues and work to resolve operational issues in a timely manner
- Communicate and educate our international team members on customer and product demands
- Organize, pack and track product samples and merchandise
- Responsible to manage presentation content, customer pricing, and submit information through the online customer portal
About You
To qualify, you must have a post-secondary degree, preferable in business, supply chain management, or logistics, as well as, a minimum of 5 years of experience in product coordination. You must have excellent analytical and mathematical skills for customer pricing needs and quoting.
The following will be critical to successfully perform in this role:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for completing customer pricing needs and quotations
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results to meet company demands
- Exceptional customer service skills to internal and external partners
- Ability to successfully manage multiple prioritized projects with a sense of drive and strong attention to detail
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working in the Wholesale industry sector
- Basic knowledge of international import/export business
- Bilingual in Mandarin would be an asset

Location and Additional Information
- Full time, permanent position
- You will work out of our Arlington based office located at 618 N Great Southwest Pkwy, Texas
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour week, Monday to Friday. On occasion, must be able to contact our China office and/or factories outside of working hours.
- You will be required to travel occasionally and attend various trade shows
- A driver’s license is required for this position
