About the Opportunity:
Start date: Week of November 29th or December 6th (flexible)
Flexible work options: Hybrid of work-from-home and in-office (2-3 days/week in office; 2-3 days/week at home)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm + 1 week/month of on-call duties (evenings/weekends coverage)
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and following through on requests and/or directing calls
- Basic AlayaCare Software functions - scheduling Care Aides/Registered Nurses into assignments, inputting new clients/employees
- On-call coverage at least 1 week/month (paid work in addition to salary)
- Responsible for having an on-call cell phone and Apple Watch on you at all times (after hours and weekends) to provide the field team with support and address after-hours concerns as they arise
- Can be anywhere with cell service (no need to come into the office)
- Use of an iPad while on-call to assist with accessing software, scheduling, etc.
- Providing administrative support in office (1-2x/month; scanning, creating interview and intake packages, etc.)
- Prepping deposits and invoice payments, and compiling Expense Reports for Executive Director
- Sending out employee and client surveys, and arranging gifts for team members
- Taking minutes at team meetings
More About You:
We are looking for a full-time Care Coordinator/Scheduler, who shares our values, with a background in community-based healthcare. Computer proficiency and experience as a Care Aide, Medical Office Assistant and/or an RN certification from another country is an asset.
As our ideal candidate, you have the ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment both independently and as part of a team. You are reliable, proactive, and accountable, with excellent customer service and communication skills. You are a fast learner, with exceptional attention to detail and strong prioritizing skills. Computer proficiency (typing speed of at least 40 words/minute,) proficiency in Microsoft Word, and the ability to learn complex software systems is a must; experience with scheduling or scheduling programs (eg. AlayaCare) is a significant asset.
Above all, you are efficient and adaptable to change, and enjoy working with people of various backgrounds.
What We Can Offer You:
- Starting salary at $20-$24/hour (dependent on qualifications/direct experience) + $700/month for 1-week of on-call coverage
- Total starting salary range including on-call and bonus: $47,400 to $56,200 per year
- 3 weeks paid vacation
