About the Opportunity
ʔaq̓am is seeking responsible, energetic, and dynamic individuals to fill the positions of ʔaq̓amnik Summer Program Assistants for the months of July and August. The program runs for 8 consecutive weeks commencing June 29, 2026, and ending August 21, 2026. This is a temporary position, daily hours will average 6 to 8 hours per day. There are fulltime, parttime, and casual roles available.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide quality childcare as well as plan and carry out developmentally appropriate activities for children who have completed kindergarten and old.
• Function as a member of our cohesive and cooperative team, which includes staff, parents, and community members.

More About You
In order to qualify for the ʔaq̓amnik Summer Program Assistant role, you must have a a grad twelve or equivalent, be able to provide quality childcare, and provide proof of a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check.
Salary will commensurate with experience from a range $17-25 per hour.
Preference will be given to candidates of Ktunaxa or other Indigenous ancestry and ʔaq̓am encourages applicants to self-identify within your application.
