Delivery Associate

We’re recruiting dependable, organized, customer focused individuals to deliver packages in the Edmonton area. We love delivering packages, but we love seeing customers smile even more!
Duties
- Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle with a rated capacity of 910 kg or more
- Use a hand held device for routing information and customer delivery information
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area
- Load and unload packages to be delivered
- Enthusiastically and responsibly represent the Amazon and Anderson Last Mile dedication to accuracy, safety, and excellence in customer service
Hours of Work, Schedules & Training
- Daily shifts are up to 10 hours, start time approx 10 am
- We deliver 7 days a week - flexible full-time and part-time work schedules available
- Comprehensive online and in-person delivery and safety training provided
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting hourly rate is $16.50 - eligible for first increase to $17.75 after 500 hours
- Hourly pay ladder with scheduled increases and growth opportunities

- Two weeks of paid time off in first year of employment
Requirements:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift packages up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
- Comfortable working a 10 hour shift
- Comfortable driving and working in all seasons
- Previous customer service experience an asset
- Ability to use various computer applications and software an asset
- Home computer and home internet access an asset
