As a member of our Delivery Associate team, you will be able to leverage your driving and customer service skills to deliver smiles to customers in Red Deer and surrounding areas! We are looking for dependable, organized, customer focused individuals to join our dynamic and diverse team. We love delivering packages, but we love seeing customers smile even more!
Duties
- Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle with a rated capacity of 910 kg or more
- Use a hand held device for routing information and customer delivery information
- Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area
- Load and unload packages to be delivered
- Enthusiastically and responsibly represent our company's dedication to accuracy, safety, and excellence in customer service
Hours of Work, Schedules & Training
- Daily shifts begin in Red Deer, are up to 8 hours, start time approximately 11:00 - 11:30am
- We deliver 7 days a week (weekend availability is an asset)
- Comprehensive delivery skills and safety training provided
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting hourly rate is $21.00
- Benefits eligibility available for FT
- Eligible for seasonal bonus program
- Hourly pay ladder for FT/PT with growth opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to lift packages up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to get in and out of the van and walk up and down stairs throughout your shift
- Comfortable working a 8 hour shift
- Weekend Availability is preferred
- Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all seasons
- Previous delivery and customer service experience an asset
- Ability to use various computer applications an asset
