About the Opportunity

Adria Electric Ltd. is looking for full-time Red Seal Journeyman Electricians and 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices based in Vancouver, BC, working across projects throughout the Lower Mainland.

Reporting to the Foreman, you will play a key role in supporting daily site operations, contributing to electrical installations, and helping keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for completing electrical work on multi-residential construction projects, working both independently and as part of a crew while continuing to build your skills in the trade.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Installing electrical systems on wood frame and concrete multi-residential projects
  • Assisting with slab, conduit, and in-concrete installations
  • Reading and interpreting drawings for suite rough-in and layout work
  • Supporting foremen and lead hands in daily task execution
  • Coordinating with team members and other trades on-site
  • Maintaining quality of work in line with project specifications
  • Following safety standards and site procedures at all times
  • Continuously developing technical skills and taking on increased responsibility over time

About You

To qualify, you will need to be either a Red Seal Electrician or a 3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice, along with 2+ years of experience in multi-residential electrical construction, particularly in concrete and wood frame projects. You must also have the ability to work on-site across projects in the Lower Mainland.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience working on multi-residential wood frame and/or concrete projects
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings for suite rough-in and layout work
  • Experience with slab, conduit, and in-concrete installations
  • Familiarity with tenant improvement (TI) projects and distribution systems
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while following direction from foremen
  • Experience working alongside multiple trades on active construction sites
  • Strong on-site communication skills (verbal and written)
