About the Opportunity

Wingfield Scale & Measure is hiring for a full-time position in Technical Sales, Refractory Inspection Services based remotely in the United States.

Reporting to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in growing the 4DNA platform across North America by generating leads, presenting to potential clients, and guiding them through the sales journey.

In this position, you will be primarily responsible for identifying and converting opportunities in the refractory services space, working closely with internal and external partners to deliver data-driven solutions that improve asset visibility and plant maintenance for industrial clients.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Learning the 4DNA platform and understanding its technical value propositions
  • Proactively sourcing and cultivating new leads within cement, lime, and related industries
  • Managing leads and client communications using HubSpot CRM
  • Conducting virtual product demonstrations alongside subject matter experts and partners
  • Preparing quotes and proposals to convert leads into long-term clients
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and conducting post-project reviews
  • Supporting brand awareness through trade shows and online engagement
  • Collaborating with marketing and product teams to identify trends and client needs

About You

To qualify, you will need 2+ years of experience in sales or client-facing roles within the refractory industry or a similar industrial environment. You will also have hands-on experience with refractory materials and a solid understanding of their application in sectors such as cement, lime, steel, or petrochemical processing.

The following are required:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for trade shows or client meetings
  • Access to a reliable internet connection and home office setup for remote work

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Familiarity with refractory services, wear measurement, or asset inspection tools
  • Experience in consultative or technical solution-based sales
  • Ability to learn and clearly present technical concepts to clients
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot
  • Experience preparing quotes and managing client pipelines
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Comfort working collaboratively with subject matter experts and partners
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (asset)
