About the Opportunity
Accurate Fabricating has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Outside Sales & Solutions Representative, Heavy Equipment to join our team in Surrey, BC. This field-based role involves frequent customer visits throughout British Columbia, with the expectation to work from the Surrey office at least one day per week.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions in the heavy equipment and fabrication industry.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of key accounts across British Columbia, with a strong focus on customer engagement, business development, and proactive account management.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Acting as a trusted advisor by listening to customer needs and providing tailored, technically-informed solutions
- Developing and executing detailed customer visit plans, including clear agendas, objectives, and follow-ups
- Negotiating contracts, pricing, and agreements to meet both customer needs and company profitability targets
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of custom solutions and maintaining alignment with operational capabilities
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure production capacity, lead times, and pricing structures are appropriately communicated to customers
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, visit outcomes, and business opportunities using CRM software
- Preparing account status reports and tracking key sales metrics, including quarterly forecasts and pipeline development
More About You
To qualify, you will need 3+ years of experience in the heavy equipment, fabrication, or industrial components industry, with a focus on outside sales, account management, or customer relations. A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle will also be essential. A combination of skills, qualifications, and experience will be considered.
The following skills, certifications, and qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Proven experience in building and maintaining long-term customer relationships within the heavy equipment or industrial sectors
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of equipment, components, and technical solutions
- Track record of identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities through strategic outreach
- Experience preparing quotes, bids, and analyzing contracts using CRM systems such as Salesforce and MySysOps Suite
- Proficiency in managing customer accounts, pricing negotiations, and solution delivery
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, execute, and follow up on customer visits
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to align customer expectations with operational capacity
- Discipline and accountability to work independently in a field-based role while maintaining regular in-office presence
- A relevant Bachelor's degree (asset)

About the Benefits
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive base salary of $50,000 to $60,000, based on experience, plus commission, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $80,000 to $90,000 annually. You will also enjoy an excellent benefits package, including:
