About the Opportunity

Airbus Helicopters Canada Limited is looking for a full-time Financial Analyst based in Fort Erie, ON.

The Financial Analyst is instrumental in overseeing pricing and cost analysis, reporting to the Finance Department, and ensuring alignment with Airbus’ financial strategies and business plans.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and standardizing pricing practices for manufacturing components and intercompany parts
  • Calculating annual costing rates, gross margin targets, and burden rates
  • Organizing strategic meetings across departments to set and update selling rates for the current year
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly variance reports to monitor manufacturing costs, rates, and overall financial performance
  • Managing currency conversions and updates for spare parts pricing in the ERP system
  • Collaborating with Global Supply Chain and Customer Service to set prices for new spares and research and development options
  • Conducting cost vs. sale analyses and preparing quotes for new helicopter sales, including customer option sheets
  • Participating in contract reviews, price setting meetings, and post-delivery margin reviews
  • Assisting in month-end closing processes, including preparing various financial and analytical reports to support decision-making
  • Maintaining and updating pricing and repair guidelines for services like blade repairs and overhaul operations

About You

To qualify, you will need a University Degree or College Diploma in Finance or Accounting. A minimum of 2 years' experience in determining quotes and prices, will also be essential. Additionally, having a CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and preparation of financial reports
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis
  • Expertise in using spreadsheets and ERP systems
