About the Opportunity

Acera is growing! We are currently looking for full-time Client Advisors, Personal Insurance in the following locations:

  • Kamloops, BC
  • Kelowna, BC
  • Lake Country, BC
  • Vernon, BC
  • Penticton, BC

As an important member of our Personal Lines Insurance team, you will advise, explain, promote, and sell home, and personal lines insurance policies to ensure Acera's clients have adequate coverage.

More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Working collaboratively with clients, insurance companies, and other Acera team members to exceed client expectations
  • Answering all inbound inquiries from customers, either through phone, email, or walk-in inquiries
  • Processing renewals, endorsements, cancellations, changes and serve new walk-in and phone-in clients
  • Updating and maintaining automated forms for new business, endorsements, renewals, and claims
  • Recommending optimal coverage and additional products available
  • Collecting payments from clients in an efficient and timely manner
  • Providing high service standard expectations to new and existing clients

About You

To qualify, we require at least 1 year of insurance experience (e.g., home, personal lines, or commercial insurance). Candidates with no insurance experience but have at least 3 years of frontline customer service, or client support experience will also be considered.

Whether you have insurance experience, or are someone motivated to jumpstart your career in insurance through our extensive learning and development programs, we encourage you to apply! To effectively perform this role, you will need a Level 1 BC Insurance License or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of start date.

Candidates with previous roles as a Personal Lines Advisor, Autoplan Agent, Insurance Broker, or Inbound Customer Service Representative are preferred, but not required.
