About the Opportunity

Eriez Flotation has a full-time career opportunity for a Global Product Service Director. This position offers a remote flexibility, with at least 30% travel requirement to our office in Vancouver, BC and various international markets we serve.

Reporting to the VP of Global Flotation, you will take ownership in managing and growing Eriez Flotation's global Aftermarket Services business. This includes developing new service products and updating services strategy, growing the aftermarket business by identifying capital & aftermarket flotation opportunities, managing contracts for services by achieving or exceeding safety targets, revenue & profitability targets, and exceeding customer expectations.

Your essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Growing Flotation Service capacity to meet existing demand and expected growth requirements
  • Determining best organizational structure and initial strategic objectives for Service Team development
  • Establishing, implementing, and achieving commercial objectives related to the Aftermarket Service area business case.
  • Organizing the necessary activities to standardize: service offerings, reporting tools and internal communication specific to Flotation services
  • Planning, coordinating and overseeing competence training, technical and other
  • Developing and implementing standardized customer satisfaction feedback and tracking process
  • Designing guidelines and executing strategies in conjunction with process and mechanical engineering to ensure optimal flotation equipment performance
  • Implementing and updating Eriez’ Flotation equipment database to increase spare parts and services sales opportunities
  • Organizing and executing visits to customer sites to support local offices in the promotion of services
  • Tracking and reporting equipment defects, warranty, and customer complaints to the applicable product line manager to ensure a timely resolution of issues
  • Coordinating Eriez service activities with the national offices in support of customer requests
  • Coordinating with Eriez Project Management and organize the Global service team to assist in start-up & commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintaining service quality and safety records for all service contracts
  • Provide monthly/quarterly summary of Flotation Services status

About You 

To qualify, you must have at least 10–15 years of combined experience in the field services sector (e.g. experience in maintenance and/or the services business of an international equipment OEM). Industry exposure in mining, metals, refinery, OEM, flotation technology, etc. are highly preferable.

We also require at least 5 years of high-level leadership experience.

This position is tailor-made for you if:

  • You have experience in maintenance and/or the services business of an international equipment OEM
  • You have advanced engineering degree or trade-skill (asset)
  • You have knowledge of multidiscipline engineering and operations maintenance methodologies
  • You have proven project management skills and report writing experience
  • You have exposure in dealing with international markets and clientele
  • You have prior experience in flotation equipment maintenance and plant operation
  • You are familiar with global engineering specifications and standards
  • You are fluent in Spanish (asset)
