About Tribuild Contracting

Tribuild Contracting took on its first construction management project, a commercial office interior in downtown Calgary, in the year 1982. Thanks to our high-quality work and excellent customer service we have grown since then into an industry leader with a diverse group of clients including corporate offices, government buildings, and critical facilities.

At Tribuild Contracting, we're equally passionate about the individuals that make up our staff and drive the success of our organization. Our excellent work-life balance and our culture are underpinned by our values of integrity, loyalty, accountability, and balance. Diversity and the different opinions, ideas, viewpoints, and opportunities it generates are also hugely important to us which is why our workforce is more diverse than the Alberta average and why we're striving to increase the diversity of our organization at all levels.

About the Opportunity

Currently, Tribuild Contracting is looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to support various projects in the Calgary area on a full-time basis. This role is a hybrid of work from home and from the office, with occasional travel throughout Alberta.

As our new Project Manager, you'll support work on a range of commercial construction projects that focus on critical facilities (data centres). In this role, you will be developing schedules, maintaining budgets, completing documentation, providing feedback when appropriate, and overseeing compliance from all parties involved including subcontractors and engineers.

More About You

In order to qualify for the role, you'll have 4+ years of experience in commercial construction, with an understanding of how to read specifications and blueprints (architectural, structural, mechanical). Previous electrical, mechanical, or critical facility experience is an asset, and having a vehicle and a valid driver's license is required.

As our ideal candidate, you'll be a highly motivated individual with excellent communication, detail-oriented skills, and mechanical aptitude. You are driven and able to both lead and take direction, with the collaboration skills to work with different stakeholders and personalities. Your passion for the work that you do, your desire to continuously learn and grow, and your ability to build quality relationships will set an example for those working with you and foster a positive and fun working environment.

For the safety and well-being of our clients and employees, we require proof of COVID-19 vaccination before commencing employment. Accommodations will be made for those exempt from the COVID-19 vaccination, based on grounds protected by relevant human rights law.
