About the Opportunity
BPES is looking for full-time Nitrogen Pump Operators to join our team in Nisku, Alberta. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Nitrogen Pump Operators will be responsible for transporting and conducting Nitrogen specific operations for BPES customers. They will be required to perform this role safely and efficiently, protecting people, the environment and the equipment.
More specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Demonstrating a superior understanding of Nitrogen Pumper, and Tractor Operation and maintenance
- Safely transporting both Tractors and Nitrogen Pumpers to job sites
- Adhering to Blackstone, Customer and Government workplace safety policies and regulations
- Conducting pre-job safety meetings and paperwork on location
- Performing Rig-In and Rig-Out operations
- Accurately completing all relevant paperwork, including log books, and load tickets
- Recognizing potential hazards with either Nitrogen tractor or pump operations, and determining solutions to the hazards
- Understanding and applying the fundamentals of Nitrogen Pumping procedures
- Troubleshooting challenges involved with daily operations of Nitrogen tractors and pumpers
- Conducting Nitrogen transfers from N2 Bulkers to Pumpers
- Demonstrating the ability to perform volumetric calculations for Nitrogen operations
This role will sometimes require climbing, manual dexterity, heavy lifting, and working in tight spaces.
More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have graduated from high school, a Class 1 driver's license with a clean abstract, and related experience in the oil and gas industry.

- Ability to prioritize multiple activities with tight deadlines and adapting to changing conditions
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you can expect competitive annual compensation based on hours and overtime worked. Historically the range earned has ranged from $103,962 to $113,330. You will also receive the following benefits:
