About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting Forest Nursery Workers to assist with our upcoming harvest of tree seedlings for reforestation projects across North America. This seasonal position is available from October until the end of December, with some sites going into January. Roles are available in multiple locations in BC, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Oregon, with an opportunity to join other projects for ongoing career paths, development, and personal enrichment.
Our PRT nurseries are vibrant and fun communities, with employees who share a strong passion for the "green" nature of our business and doing their part in regenerating the forests of North America. With your help, PRT has grown over five BILLION forest seedlings, and we are only looking to add to that number with more help from you!

More About You
In order to qualify for the Forest Nursery Worker role, you must be physically able to perform manual work for long periods of time, including standing, walking, repetitive lifting (light to medium weight objects), and performing repetitive movements. Access to reliable transportation to get to our nurseries is also required. Please note that due to the nature of the work, you may be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
This is an entry-level position and no previous experience is necessary! All we need are reliable team players who want to make a difference in the environment. This role is great for self-motivated, high-energy individuals who can work with minimal supervision as part of our larger team.

In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with a competitive wage between $16-20/hour based on location (US$14.50/hour in Oregon), along with the following:
