About The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Quebec, Canada. This is a remote role that requires travel within Quebec. 

Reporting to the Canada Region Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing the company's revenue and profits, working directly with customers, and ensuring the needs of customers are met.

More specifically, your essential duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding customer requirements, in order to promote the sale of company products and to provide sales support
  • Creating sales contracts for products or services by cold calling or through sales leads
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of the technical aspects of NOARK Electric products and service 
  • Planning and modifying product configurations to meet customer’s needs
  • Achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information, recommendations for strategic plans, preparing and completing action plans, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, and determining regional sales system improvements
  • Establishing sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives
  • Maintaining and expanding customer base by counseling district sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities
  • Recommending product lines by identifying new product opportunities, surveying consumer needs and trends, and tracking competitors
  • Implementing trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and 5+ years of experience in the Electrical, Low Voltage, Switchgear, Switchboard, Panel Building, Integrating, and OEM industries. 

In addition, you must also have the following skills and experiences:

  • Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English and French
  • Ability to manage communications globally across global time zones
  • Experience in leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Experience setting and delivering customer expectations

Experience in sales or engineering in a control and machinery panel builder or systems integrator would be considered an asset.

Above all, you'll be a proactive, self-starter with a proven track record of maintaining and building new markets.
