About the Opportunity

John Brooks Company currently has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Inside Technical Sales Representative (English/French) to join our team in Laval, Quebec, on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role with a mix of remote and office working days.

As a Bilingual Inside Technical Sales Representative, you will possess a high level of filtration and technical knowledge, and be responsible for familiarity of product availability, use, application, benefits, and pricing structures. You will provide unparalleled customer service, product selection and quotation preparation, technical support to the outside sales team, and execution of large bid submissions and project management. 

Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by meeting our clients' needs in a timely manner
  • Identifying and relaying customer opportunities, issues, and concerns to the outside sales team
  • Building and nurturing effective relationships with new and existing clients
  • Identifying customer needs and providing them with quality bids and technical information to move the sale along
  • Upselling and cross-selling our products, and promoting the service and repair of all our products
  • Effectively using our CRM system to record and keep track of all client interactions and transactions
  • Communicating with clients in fluent English and French, by phone, video, and email

About you

In order to qualify for this role, you will join us with a minimum 1-3 years experience in a technical, industrial, or related sales role, and posses a College Diploma or Certificate in a related field. As this is a bilingual role, it is also imperative that you have excellent communication skills in both English and French, both written and verbal.

The ideal candidate will have Inside Sales experience, specifically with industrial, engineering, or mechanical products, as well as previous experience working with customers to establish their needs and find a suitable solution for them that is mutually beneficial. Working knowledge of fluid handling equipment would be a big asset, but is not required.

You'll join us with a natural aptitude for excellent customer service and a general curiosity to learn new things and continuously develop your knowledge. You will be a proactive individual who is self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, while also being an effective team player. About the Benefits

As a reward for your hard work, you will be rewarded with a competitive annual salary of $60,000-70,000. Our base salary range is commensurate with experience however irrespective of your salary expectations, if you have a relevant skill set, we encourage you to apply now!
