About the Opportunity
Currently, West Fraser is looking for a Concrete Plant Manager based in Terrace or Prince Rupert, BC, to join their team.
The Concrete Plant Managers will be responsible for dispatching concrete delivery drivers and concrete pump operators and providing excellent customer service.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Dispatching a team of concrete delivery drivers and concrete pump operators
- Overseeing quality control in both the concrete plants and on job sites
- Batching concrete
- Addressing customer needs and providing excellent customer service
Due to seasonal variability, during slower seasons the Concrete Plant Manager will be able to take 4 to 6 weeks of additional vacation with pay.
About You
The ideal candidates are energetic, outgoing concrete workers with demonstrated ability to manage concrete finishers and cement masons and provide excellent customer service. They need to have a reliable vehicle and a Class 3 drivers' license. Ideally, this candidate will have 2+ years managing plants and 4+ years concrete batching.
Please note: candidates that have no plant management experience or that have other construction experience will be considered, if they are the right personality fit.
