About the Opportunity
As we gear up for the busy summer season and beyond, the Hotel Grand Pacific has an exciting opportunity for multiple Housekeeping Room Attendants to join our team on a full-time basis in beautiful Victoria, BC.
Housekeeping Room Attendants play an important role in helping our independent hotel achieve its mission to provide a superior level of service to our guests. If you’re looking for a rewarding physical role in a luxury property, join our friendly team, where everyone is welcome.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Efficiently cleaning all hotel guest rooms, adhering to our high standards of presentation
- Maintaining room supplies and amenities
- Reporting lost property to the Housekeeping office
- Liaising as required between the Housekeeping office and the guest, in fulfilling the guest’s requests
- Following all health and safety procedures as directed
More About You
To qualify for a Housekeeping Room Attendant role, all you need is the motivation, tenacity, and the right mindset to put your best work forward every day! You will be organized with a great attention to detail, clear and effective communication skills, and be a great team player who can also work independently when required.
You will be a trustworthy individual with a high level of integrity and reliable work ethic. You will also be comfortable standing and walking for long periods, able to bend and reach above shoulder height, and be comfortable lifting items up to 20lbs for short periods. WHMIS training/knowledge is a definite plus.
Please note, for this role you must be able to work more than 30 hours per week.
