About the Opportunity

Currently, we are looking for an experienced Office Manager to work in our Vancouver, BC studio on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work with the management team and in a self-directed capacity.

As our ideal candidate for this role, you will have excellent interpersonal skills. You’ll also be highly self motivated, with the drive to create a positive and trusting relationship with the FdVA team and clients. Your strong problem-solving skills and aptitude for attention to detail will ensure your success within this role.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing bookkeeping tasks, including monthly invoicing, processing payments, and CRA reporting
  • Performing general administrative tasks including answering phones, scheduling client meetings, and ordering supplies
  • Supporting FdVA marketing 
  • Providing HR support, including overseeing benefits, onboarding new employees, and providing employment documents
  • Renewing professional dues and company insurance
  • Managing FdVA's office building

About You

To qualify, you will need at least 3 years experience as an Office Manager, along with:

  • Experience in managing complex billing structures, bookkeeping and invoicing using QuickBooks
  • Working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing 
  • Skilled in time management and creative problem-solving
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration - this would be considered an asset, not a requirement.

You will also be joining us with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; you will be a self-starter who prioritizes tasks to meet critical deadlines; and will have high standards in delivering great customer satisfaction.
