About the Opportunity

ABA Academy is seeking highly motivated Instructor Therapists (Applied Behaviour Analysis) to join our team in Toronto, ON, on a full-time basis. 

In this role, the successful candidates will be conducting home and community-based ABA Therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental exceptionalities. 

Some of your key responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Implementing client-specific Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programming and teaching procedures with individuals with autism or other related developmental disabilities in a one-on-one setting
  • Delivering direct service in home-based and community-based settings
  • Recording and graphing data 
  • Documenting the child's progress through detailed notes
  • Working collaboratively with a client team to develop strategies and share learning 

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to possess a diploma in a behaviour science program (such as Behavioural Science Technology Diploma, Autism Behavioural Science Certificate), Early Childhood Education Diploma or Degree, or a degree in psychology or a related field. You’ll also join us as a Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) or willing to work towards this certification. A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Instructor Therapist with children with special needs is required; experience with implementing ABA teaching strategies directly with children and adolescents with autism, learning disabilities, and related exceptionalism is preferred.

A valid driver's license, access to a vehicle, and the willingness to travel across the Greater Toronto Area are required, along with a recent Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector check. First Aid/CPR training would be an asset.
