About the Opportunity
Currently, we are seeking a full-time Manager, Sales & Distribution to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario.
Collaborating with our Sales and Distribution team, you are responsible for developing strategic plans including execution plans and managing the key elements of the business, using data analysis and management supported by KFF's internal database and external market trends.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing business strategies based on internal data and market trends of our customers, beneficiaries, and subscribers
- Developing data visualizations to communicate investment trends and patterns to Sales and Distribution team
- Developing management operating systems (dashboards and monitoring tools) to effectively plan, execute, and manage key elements of the business on an ongoing basis, including relevant KPIs
- Acting as key liaison between the Data & Analytics, and Sales & Distribution teams
- Collaborating with the AVP and SVP of the area as well as the broader management team
- Acting as an additional resource to participate in a variety of capacities in support of the broader Sales & Distribution Strategy, including data visualization presentations
- Anticipating and understanding business unit issues, formulating recommendations, and coordinating actions, to address these issues
More About You
To qualify, you will need a Bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years experience or background in the financial sector, either in sales, consulting, investment services, or analyst role.
As a lead for this brand-new role and with tremendous opportunities to grow your team, you also need the following to succeed in this role:
- Quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively handle confidential information
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with different internal teams
- Innovative mindset that can easily adapt to evolving markets, and formulate business plans that are backed by data
- Demonstrated computer skills (e.g., advanced Excel, data visualization softwares, etc.)
- Excellent presentation skills
In addition, degree, certifications, or membership(s) in the following will be considered assets, but are not required:
- Investment Funds in Canada (IFIC)
- Mutual Funds Dealers Association (MFDA)
- Life License Qualification Program (LLQP)
- Certified Financial Advisor (CFA)
