About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Millwright Foreman to join our team in Turlock, California on a full-time basis. Our shifts are primarily 10 hours long, Monday through Thursday, however, occasional weekend work and overtime will be required to meet our client needs.

As our new Millwright Foreman, you will be responsible for project management and the supervision of our maintenance teams. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for handling client questions and concerns.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of large and small industrial installation projects.
  • Understanding project logistics and timelines to coordinate manpower and daily tasks efficiently.
  • Developing progressive punch list items to be completed within the project schedule.
  • Ordering project materials and supplies.
  • Reading and deciphering blueprints for installation of equipment.
  • Emphasizing the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment, including providing training on safety gear and procedures.
  • Fabricating miscellaneous supports, chutes, etc.
  • Resolving conflicts and miscommunications quickly and amicably.
  • Maintaining professional communication with clients and providing them with regular project status updates.
  • Coordinating with clients regarding shutdowns and tie-ins to the facilities’ utilities and equipment.
  • Assisting with the development and management of project budgets.
  • Performing quality control on project sites.
  • Attending meetings, and completing other related duties as assigned.

About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably as a millwright or pipefitter, along with previous supervisory or team lead experience. In addition, you must have a valid Driver’s License, and basic computer skills using Microsoft Office.

As our ideal candidate, you have excellent customer service and communication skills. You are capable of wearing many hats and know how to coordinate tasks and manage time effectively. You have the leadership skills required to motivate and support a team, while also prioritizing safety at all times. In addition, you have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, along with the patience required to address client needs.
