About the Opportunity
We are growing and currently looking for a Branch Manager to join our Belle River branch team on a permanent, full-time basis in the Windsor/Essex region of Ontario. The Branch Manager is a key leadership position that has ultimate responsibility for all aspects of the operations of a location of Libro Credit Union. Expectations include fostering a proactive advice & experience culture, coaching staff and Owners to achieve their potential while ensuring strong location sales, growth, revenue, expenses, and risk management practices.
More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Building a strategic, measurable, actionable, and adaptable business development plan that reinforces the corporate plan, and aligns well with a regional plan of local initiatives and activities
- Leading the location team by employing effective sales management practices and coaching in a relationship-based approach
- Creating and fostering an environment that encourages personal responsibility and provides staff appropriate autonomy to make decisions and resolve problems
- Coaching staff to own their career through personal development conversations
- Ensuring that the team is following Libro service standards throughout all Owner and internal partner interactions through observational coaching and reinforcement
- Inspiring, motivating, and demonstrating strong change leadership skills
- Seeking to intimately understand community needs and Libro’s role as a connectors, supporter, and advocate
- Building reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationships
- Partnering with the Regional Manager in support of Regional council
- Managing the branch at an acceptable audit level while reviewing and implementing business process improvement recommendations as identified
About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 4 years of experience within financial services or sales leadership, as well as a post-secondary degree or diploma. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
As our ideal candidate, you have demonstrated direct leadership experience, project leadership, and mentoring/coaching initiative. You have the ability to contribute effectively to the development of a Regional business plan and align teams through the execution of articulated priorities and action plans. You are passionate about growing prosperity in Southwestern Ontario by transforming banking through inspiring financial happiness, and you find joy in your work and are passionately accountable. Moreover, you share our value of community involvement and are eager to have a positive impact within the Belle River community.
