About the Opportunity
Currently, VictorEric is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator based in Vancouver, BC, focusing on custom-builds for single-family residential projects.
Reporting to the specified Project Manager, you will support communication between internal and external stakeholders regarding budget, timeline, code requirements, and design expectations.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in creating and maintaining construction schedules
- Supporting in creating estimates, obtaining tenders, and monitoring budgets for construction projects
- Inputting accepted quotes into budget database
- Reading and entering project schedules in Co-Construct
- Managing client communication to resolve issues and trade queries
- Attending site visits and site meetings
- Reviewing and coding trade invoices
- Keeping detailed project documentation, including agreements, drawings, and correspondences
- Maintaining good working relationships with suppliers
- Providing 5-star boutique-style customer service
About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 2 years experience in any relevant industry such as construction, architectural design, and interior design.
In addition, the ability to read construction blueprints and design drawings as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite, will be required for this role.
Moreover, candidates with the following will be considered an asset (but are not required):
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Building Technology or related studies
- Good knowledge of building codes and by-laws for wood frame structures
- Experience in AutoCAD / Revit
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases
- Experience in custom-builds for single-family residential projects
We are also looking for a motivated candidate with outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent time management, and ability to multitask.
Lastly, you will be joining us with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect different internal and external stakeholders as required.
