About the Opportunity
REIMAR Construction is currently looking to employ multiple Rodmen, Concrete Finishers, and Labourers to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Site Superintendent, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Rodmen:
- Positioning and securing steel bars in concrete forms to reinforce concrete
- Installing and securing rebar for concrete reinforcement
- Cutting and bending rods to required lengths, using appropriate power tools
Concrete Finishers:
- Placing, levelling, and finishing concrete to a high standard of finish using hand and power tools
- Using various finishing techniques to achieve proper grade and finish
- Patching and rubbing of concrete on walls and columns
- Operating tools and machinery as required
Labourers:
- Assisting with safety protocols
- Preparing and cleaning of job site before and after construction shift
- Retrieving materials and tools for carpentry work
- Dropping and flying fly tables
- Preparing and repairing of concrete
- Operating tools and machinery as required
More About You
In order to qualify as a Rodman or as a Concrete Finisher, you will need previous experience in the role or equivalent, along with the eagerness for a challenge.
In order to qualify as a General Labourer, our only requirement is motivation, tenacity, and the right mindset!

In addition, you must have effective communication and teamwork skills, and be able to reliably get to job sites located throughout Hamilton, Niagara, and the greater Toronto area.
