Together we have over 100 employees and offices in Vancouver, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.

Our steady growth over the last decade, coupled with our services-enabled software strategy, sets us up well for our three-year plan to IPO.

It’s an exciting time to join the team, and we’re looking for individuals that are eager to make their mark within the recruitment industry.

Your New Career

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our dynamic team. Your main role will be talking with the recruitment decision makers in businesses with between 50 and 400 employees, and advising them on which of our recruitment solutions will be best suited to their particular needs. This full-time role will operate on a remote basis during the current pandemic with the aim of returning to our downtown Vancouver office once the pandemic subsides.

You’ll be backed by in-house teams of recruitment specialists (copywriters, advertisers, shortlisters, recruitment software specialists) who will provide & execute the actual recruitment solutions, and who will even step into your conversations and help you sell. But you’re the primary adviser to your customers – pulling the right combination of products together for them and then providing them with your expert account management in order to develop strong relationships into the future. You will work closely with current customers and prospective customers as a trusted advisor in order to deeply understand their unique company values, challenges and goals.

Working with primarily outbound leads, your key accountabilities will be:

  • Connecting with prospects in assigned verticals via a multi-touch methodology (25-30 touches per day), with the aim of having quality conversations about their recruitment needs while meeting sales/KPI targets.
  • Conducting a discovery call to learn about their recruitment goals and challenges, and determining which of Scout Talent's products are the right fit.
  • Confirming pricing, handling objections, and managing the sales process.
  • Conducting qualified software demonstrations alongside our product specialists.
  • Acting as an Account Manager for your clients, building and maintaining a strong relationship leading to repeat business and growth of your accounts.
  • Liaising with our Specialist teams to coordinate recruitment campaigns and recruitment technology efforts.
  • Delivering outstanding service to clients.

In order to qualify for this role, you'll be someone with 2-10 years of previous sales experience, and has worked in some capacity in a business environment with the confidence and ability to build up a rapport with just about anyone. Continued ambitions of building a career in sales will ensure your success in this role.

This truly is an enjoyable, satisfying position with plenty of growth opportunities. If you love working with people and really enjoy the idea of adding value to an organization and helping companies find the best candidates, then we want to hear from you!

The Benefits

For your hard work, you’ll be rewarded with an attractive annual salary of $70,000 plus commission. Additionally, you’ll also enjoy an excellent benefits package which includes:

  • A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and more.
  • Life and Long-term Disability Insurance.
  • Quarterly staff awards nights, parties, and celebration of achievements. Past events have included painting classes, bowling, and renting out a boat! Our most recent event was a skiing trip.
  • The opportunity to attend the annual Global Gathering - in the past, we've been to Vegas, Singapore, Cancun, Paris, Hawaii and New Zealand, to name a few.
  • RRSP matching.
  • Complimentary gym access and free coffee/fruit and snacks in the office.
  • Employee recognition awards like our values award or the bobblehead that every team member receives after a year of working with us.
  • Two (2) weeks’ vacation time to start, with the opportunity to earn up to five (5) weeks as your career with Scout Talent progresses.

Our organization's culture is underpinned by the core values of innovation, enthusiasm, ownership, success, respect, transparency, and wellbeing. If this is a culture you think you could thrive within, then we want to hear from you!
