Build Your Career With An Industry Leader

Natural Factors has an exciting opportunity for 15 Machine Operators to join our team in our Coquitlam or Pitt Meadows locations on a full-time basis. We work on a Monday to Sunday schedule, and there are three shift options available: 

  • Monday to Friday, 6:15 am – 2:15 pm
  • Monday to Friday, 2:15 pm – 10:15 pm
  • Sunday to Thursday, 10:15 pm – 6:15 am

In this role, you will be responsible for operating, pulling, cleaning, setting up, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery relevant to the nutraceutical industry.

More specifically, your responsibilities in this role will include: 

  • Cleaning and setting up press machine, accessories and rooms within the standard time
  • Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment 
  • Monitoring the machine operation and performing in-process checks, making adjustments as necessary 
  • Performing troubleshooting during production 
  • Reporting non-compliance event in a timely manner 
  • Performing general maintenance of machinery 
  • Taking good care of machine parts and tooling  
  • Accurately completing all paperwork  
  • Ensuring proper shift turnover 
  • Maintaining the working area clean and tidy
  • Covering coworker’s break on other machines if requested
  • Working in other departments or perform other duties if required 
  • Identifying hazards on site 
  • Following all given instructions, including work procedures, Standard  Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
  • Following all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and  training sessions 

For this role, our ideal candidate will have machining experience, paired with a good knowledge of equipment operations, a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. Your organizational and problem-solving skills will also serve you well. Knowledge of GMP is an asset. 

Most importantly, we are seeking motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented team players who value quality and safety in a multicultural workplace. 

Please note that this role involves ongoing heavy lifting (average of 30 lbs) and shifting (pushing, pulling, or rolling) items of a much heavier weight (300lbs barrels).
