About the Opportunity
Keith Dahlen Construction currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate Bookkeeper to join our team in Vernon on a full-time basis.
As our new Bookkeeper, you will be a key member in the financial control of the organization. This role will see you working closely with the Project Managers as well as diligently monitoring, processing, and recording financial data to maintain the excellent standard for which we are known for.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Managing all accounts receivable and preparing company reports.

Preparing accurate project budgets and client invoices.

Manage all accounts payable and payroll administration.

Assisting the Financial Controller in additional duties as requested.
- Networking within virtual events and, once COVID restrictions permit, within in-person events.
More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a university degree or certificate in Bookkeeping or Accounting along with at least 2 to 5 years of related experience. Previous experience working with a highly systemized and well-run construction company will be considered a strong asset. You'll also join us with a reliable knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting.
As our ideal candidate for this role, you'll have experience with a construction Customer Relationship Management system, Google Documents and TSheets. Your ability to effectively multitask and your excellent communication skills will ensure your success within this role as you work towards organizing and moving projects forward efficiently.
