About the Opportunity
Due to an exciting period of growth, IDR Commercial Construction Management is currently looking for a Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team in the Lower Mainland, BC. This role will likely be 2 days a week though that may change or adjust depending on business needs.
Working alongside our Accountant this pivotal role will see you supporting the accounting functions of our organization while working to optimize the internal use of SAGE.
Your more typical responsibilities in this role will include:
- Uploading trade invoices to SAGE for Project Manager approval.
- Following up with relevant parties to ensure all invoices are converted from paper to paperless prior to month-end.
- Assisting in carrying out month-end.
- Optimizing how SAGE is used within IDR Commercial Construction Management.
- Carrying out clerical changes within SAGE to ensure all letterheads and relevant paperwork are correct and correctly branded.
In order to qualify for this role, you'll need 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping experience along with previous SAGE experience. You'll also have previous experience working within the construction industry.
