About the Opportunity
St Regis Management are currently seeking an experienced Resident Manager to join our team working with a busy real estate company near Edson in Alberta.
This role will see you responsible for a portfolio of multi-family apartment buildings. Your more specific responsibilities in this exciting role will include:
- Fielding telephone inquiries, showing, and renting suites.
- Processing leasing paperwork.
- Carrying out routine site administration using e-mail, Word, and Excel.
- Collecting rent, processing payments, and serving eviction notices as required.
- Inspecting suites when tenants move in and out.
- Cleaning suites and making them ready for new tenants.
- Keeping the common areas of the buildings clean and tidy by assisting with occasional light maintenance and groundskeeping.
- Carrying out light snow removal work in the winter.
- Co-ordinating maintenance work with in-house staff and contractors.
In order to qualify for this role, you will need to have completed high school or possess a general education degree along with at least 2 years of experience in a customer service or similar role. Exposure to multi-residential or other related industry asset classes would be an asset as would knowledge of current laws, legislation, and rights concerning residents. You will also need a drivers license and reliable access to a vehicle for travel between sites.
As our ideal candidate for this role, you will be an energetic and enthusiastic team player who can demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines and time requirements. You will also have excellent computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Finally candidates with superior organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills will excel in this role.
