The Opportunity
Due to an exciting period of growth, 8 Diamonds currently has an excellent opportunity for both a Project Manager and a Foreman to join our team in Vancouver, BC on a full-time basis. Our office is based in Burnaby and we work on a range of commercial and residential siding projects across the Greater Vancouver Area.
As our new Project Manager, you'll work with contractors and clients to ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget.
Your more typical responsibilities in this role will include:
- Leading the team towards the completion of the project.
- Communicating all relevant updates with all stakeholders and the project team.
- Resolving any issues that may occur in a timely manner while ensuring that all requirements and any changes are understood, documented, communicated, and applied.
- Monitoring progress against plans to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
As our new Foreman, you'll assist the Project Manager in achieving their goals by coordinating construction sites and working directly with the on-site team.
Your more typical responsibilities in this role will include:
- Coordinating the day to day activities of the construction team.
- Ensuring all required materials are on site when they are needed.
- Monitoring progress against plans to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
- Supporting the Project Manager in their efforts to drive the project forward.
The Qualifications
Foreman Qualifications
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as well as a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
Project Manager Qualifications
In order to qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as well as a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle. You'll also join us with previous siding and management experience.
