About the Opportunity
Barry Cullen Chevrolet Caddilac Ltd currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Guelph, Ontario on a full-time basis.
As our new Service Advisor, you'll work with our customers and our technicians to establish and remedy vehicle issues within our 6 bay drive-through. Our hours of operation are 7.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on Saturdays. In this role, you'll work one in every 4 Saturday's but then have a day off the following week.
Your more typical responsibilities in this role will include:
- Greeting clients to discuss their repair and maintenance needs.
- Updating client contact information in order to enable efficient follow-up.
- Maintaining open communications with clients on their vehicle status.
- Interacting directly with technicians in order to be able to provide a fixed right experience and communicating any recommended repairs and maintenance with the client.
In order to qualify for this role, you'll need previous general motors experience along with significant experience as a service advisor and a valid driver's license. Individuals will a different mix of skills and experience that have previous experience working in a dealership may also be considered.
Our ideal candidate for this role will possess strong relationship building and listening skills, a collaborative team spirit, confidence, and a goal-focused mentality. Individuals who are able to work both independently and as part of a team with a high degree of professionalism will excel in this role. You'll also join us with excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills which will allow you to work towards many competing demands.
Finally, a passion for the work that you do and the ability to provide an excellent customer experience will ensure your success in this role.
