SAP Systems Specialist - Mining

The Company

B2Gold is a low-cost international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has three operating gold mines and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Canada, Mali, the Philippines, Namibia, Columbia, Finland, and Uzbekistan. This year, B2Gold forecasts gold production to be 1,000,000- 1,080,000 ounces.

Position

SAP Systems Specialist - Mining, Remote (anywhere in Canada)  

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance, this position will be remote with occasional travel to site at Nunavut and Vancouver Corporate office.

Responsibilities

• Full-time team member of the SAP Project working with finance and supply chain teams to create an integrated ERP platform;
• Contribute to SAP design, configuration, standards, workflow/procedure development, testing, training and Go-Live co-ordination of asset management and maintenance related modules;
• Identify and manage integration of secondary software systems into SAP system, FMS, OEM data etc;
• Develop and implement HME management system reporting platform;
• Review, develop and implement standardized, group wide LCC (life cycle cost), budget and LOM models into SAP or secondary software; and
• Perform other duties as required in support of Company objectives.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in ERP systems design, workflow, reporting development and implementation projects.
• Experience in developing asset database design, strategy, integrating into ERP and reporting platform development.
• Experience in financial cost structures, budget development, financial analysis & reporting.
• Expert user in Microsoft products, databases, excel, Project, Power BI.
• Results focused, committed to achieving department goals and SAP project timelines.
• Knowledge and experience in the principles and application of asset life cycle management in an industrial environment.
• Software: Database development experience, reporting platform development.
• Ability to apply superior time management skills prioritizing concurrent deliverables to meet demands.
