The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, and sport and with a seating capacity of up to 10,000, we are one of the most versatile entertainment venues in the UK.
The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends and Dancing on Ice stars, Torvill & Dean, the National Ice Centre is Nottingham’s hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey. We are the home of the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey team and host around 30 games a year.
2025 is a bumper year for our venue with us welcoming Peter Kay, Kylie, Strictly Come Dancing, Craig David, Mo Gilligan, Olly Murs, Diana Ross and the 50th Anniversary Tour of Torvill & Dean to name a few.
Reporting to the Senior HR Administrator you will be responsible for day-to-day administration tasks including offers of employment, onboarding, minute taking during formal meetings.
In addition, supporting to the Head of HR the HR & Training Administrator will be responsible for the administration of all external and internal training for our staff. Including maintenance of all training records and monitoring training expiry dates.
The ideal candidate will also be comfortable assisting the Head of HR and HR Advisor in the creation of our monthly payroll.
With experience of working as an Administrator, you will be a people person, with the ability to build strong relationships with our team, our staff and our external contacts.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to deal with staff in a positive manner.
With strong organisational skills, you will be able to manage your own workload and those of your team, prioritising and managing their time effectively.
Flexibility is key due to the needs of our business, you may on occasion need to work late nights, weekends or bank holidays if HR support is required for an event.
In addition, for the real live music fan there may be the opportunity to work at festivals across the UK in a welfare capacity.
