Who are we?

National Merchandise offers a wide range of services including Merchandise Development, Venue Merchandise Sales Management and Live Event Merchandise Sales.

We manage the venue merchandising teams for the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Wolverhampton Civic Hall, Utilita Arena Birmingham, BP Pulse Live Arena Birmingham, Utilita Arena Sheffield, O2 London, Glasgow SSE Hydro Arena, Liverpool's Echo Arena amongst other venues; In addition, we manage merchandise concessions for both one-off and multi-date festivals/events and merchandise sales at live events across live venues around the UK.

A typical day in the life of event merchandising would see you count in a quantity of merchandise from our clients and partners visiting our venues, assist creating superb visual displays for customers and upon doors opening sell the stock at set prices to the general public, counting back and boxing the stock to clients for them to continue onwards with the tour, and making our stations ready for our next event. 

No event is too large or too small for National Merchandise! We cover all level of events from a small programme sporting event to a large stadium concert merchandise event.

  

The Role

As a casual Stock Assistant, you will play a key role in managing stock and supporting the setup at various London venues and festival sites. This is a fast-paced environment, and we’re seeking individuals who have prior experience working with stock.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Stock Experience: Experience in stock management, ideally in fast paced environments.
  • Driving Licence: Ideally, you should have a driving licence and be willing to drive Luton box vans and 9-seater staff vehicles to festival sites. Driving for the company will be part of the role!
  • Availability: Ability during the summer season - must be available June-August.

 

The role involves ensuring high standards of service are maintained and providing a welcoming environment for all clients and visitors to or venues.

Customer service is at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for team players that can make a positive contribution to the overall customer experience. We welcome applicants who take pride in their work, have a positive friendly attitude, and possess excellent communication skills.

You will be flexible to work weekends, evenings, and bank holidays when necessary – typical shifts for arena sales staff are usually in the region of 5pm-12:30am so is important you are able to get to and from work comfortably & safely.
