National Merchandise manage merchandise concessions for both one-off and multi-date events and merchandise sales at live events across indoor and outdoor events around the UK and Ireland.
We work in some of the biggest arenas in the UK and Ireland, including the 3 Arena Dublin, SSE Arena Belfast, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Glasgow OVO Hydro Arena, The O2 Arena in London, Avicii Arena Stockholm and Co-op Live in Manchester.
Working in a world leading venues, in Dublin you will support the team selling merchandise for sports, music and comedy events, the likes of Snow Patrol, Sabrina Carpenter, James Blunt, Gracie Adams and Peter Kay to name a few.
We are looking for a Concert Assistant Merchandise Manager to join our established team in Dublin. Based mainly in the 3 Arena and 3 Olympia you will provide support to the Merchandise Managers with the strategic development and management of merchandise.
Supporting the management team in setting and measuring department performance and targets in all areas you will prepare and manage budgets, both income and expenditure, ensuring the appropriate monitoring, evaluation and preparation of reports. Ensuring the accurate pricing of all merchandise to achieve optimal sales growth.
Working with our team of casual (zero hours) staff you will ensure that daily and weekly rotas are managed to ensure adequate cover for the requirements of the team. Ensuring that accurate payroll information is provided to our HR team in line with their deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a merchandise or retail environment. Previous management experience is essential.
They will have excellent communication skills, both written and oral. With strong financial skills and acumen they will have previous experience of managing budgets and stock control.
They will have the ability to work flexibly in line with the needs of our business, which will include late nights, weekend and bank holiday working.
A full driving licence is preferred for this role.
